As you browse this web site I hope you will get a general overall picture of the school and its operation. Yankalilla Area School offers educational programs for students from Reception to Year 12.

In 2010 the school embarked on a remarkable transformation with the completion of major projects including a ground’s upgrade, a new four teacher classroom unit and new Home Economics facility and an upgrade of the school’s Administration Area.

Commencing in June 2011 will be the final phase of this transformation with the school’s Trade Training Centre being constructed. This project consists of two separate structures - a state of the art Information Technology Centre and a shop front and hair dressing facility built to support the school’s Vocational and Educational Training pathways.

These building projects have, and will give us up to date learning facilities for the 21st century enabling us to deliver education “any time, to any place”.

The overall appearance of the school will continue to engender a sense of community and pride in the local school.
