A Communication Menu has been developed to outline the forms of communication between school and families, including:
Sentral Student Management System
The school operates a Student Management System called Sentral, providing access to families via the Sentral Parent Portal. Parents can obtain an access code and instructions by contacting the Communication Manager, Patrina Hayter via email on email@example.com The parent portal allows families to access information such as attendance data, semester overviews and learning assessment plans for subjects, teacher email contact details, school newsletters and school documents.
Sentral also provides an app for easy mobile access. Instructions on how to upload and link the app can be found here.
The school uses Sentral to deliver emails and SMS to families. For this reason it is important that family contact details are up-to-date. Updated contact details must be received in writing at the front office.
Facebook is a great way for families to keep informed on what has been happening, receive reminders and find out about upcoming events.
The newsletters are issues in weeks 1, 4, 7 and 10 of each term. Families can self-subscribe to the newsletter email distribution by completing the ‘Newsletter Self-Subscription’ form and returning to the school.

Classes in the Junior Years use Class Dojo to communicate with their families. The class teacher will provide families with instructions on how to access their Class Dojo.
