Agriculture at YAS 

At Yankalilla Area School we strive to provide a positive, enthusiastic, safe and creative learning environment where each student is well supported to meet their full potential. We strive to build a cultureof care and concern for others across the wholeschool community in a climate of openess and trust. The school’s values are honesty, respect responsibility, excellence and care.

The school has a small Agriculture and Horticulture Farm consisting of 6 hectares, which providespractical experiences for students studying Agriculture and Horticulture. Agriculture and Horticulture is offered to Years 7-12 students, in which a range of activities and topicstake place. Each topic contains both practical and theory lessons, where students learn various concepts in managing Agriculture sustainably.
